Guide Review - Game Review: 'Moonlights'
Moonlights is nothing if not original: The goal is to reach the moon. Use your finger to place dots which, in turn, make lines to previously placed nodes until a cool, skeletal structure touches the onscreen moon. The structure must touch the moon for three continual seconds, which is tricky when, because of the game’s smart physics engine, your construction starts to sway. Luckily, the gravity and tilt corresponds to your iPhone/iPod Touch, giving you some body english to help. The game has cute little twists as you go along, like moving moons, dual moons, and even destructive moons, but Moonlights still never grabbed my interest – I felt like it was a game that, even after reaching the double-digit levels, didn’t really take off. It is far from terrible, but there are way too many excellent puzzle games on this platform to spend time playing a so-so title.
