Guide Review - Game Review: 'I Dig It'
Similar to the classic spelunking game Boulder Dash , I Dig It is a near perfect action game for your iPhone/iPod Touch. You control a drill digging deeper and deeper into the land to uncover iron ore, valuable junk and, eventually, fossils and diamonds. The trick is to bring the items back to the surface before running out of gas, overheating or other countless dangers. Money gained from treasure soups up your drill which enables you to dig further and find better goodies. The controls are on point, perhaps the most precise I’ve experienced on the touchscreen, and the visuals and sound are some of the best available on the mobile. A warning though: This game is horribly, horribly addictive. It’s always about one last dig, exploring that tunnel you had to abandon during the last session. Add in a random dig generator and you have the best iPhone/iPod Touch time waster so far this year.
