Guide Review - Review of Old-School Arcade Game 'Tapper World Tour' on iPhone, iPod, iPad
Tapper World Tour is a nice homage to the popular '80s arcade game. Like the original, you must serve a stampede of patrons before they reach the end of the bar. Toss them drinks too quickly and they miss them, but toss them too slowly and they'll get angry! As discussed in my extensive hands-on earlier this month, Tapper World Tour mixes things up a bit by adding varieties of drinks, lots of locales, and absolutely gorgeous graphics by Dragon's Lair legend Don Bluth. It does get a bit repetitive, which is one thing that hasn't changed from the '80s classic, but the game has plenty of old-school fun in short doses.
