Guide Review - Review of Puzzle Game ‘Numba’ for the Apple iPhone, iPod and iPad
Numba is a solid number matching game that is a flashy, but ultimately average experience. The goal is to connect three or more matching number tiles and fulfill a quota before time runs out. The matches begin obvious, like connecting three 1 tiles, but more complex patterns open up like sequential numbers and prime numbers. Special tiles give additional time and other bonuses, and the game becomes easy to get pretty early. In fact, with the rote matching, you're more likely to be bored than stressed. The Sequence mode, which challenges you with set puzzles, is more entertaining, but that's only a small part of Numba. There is no terminal flaw in Numba. It's just that other games, like the classic Drop 7, make it feel pretty boring.
